    1.  Fourth of July Freedom Fest begins June 29 and runs through July 4 at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, with all sorts of activities to look forward to. There will also be a movie shown each night at Sunset Beach.

    2.  A 4th of July Celebration will also take place at Scottsdale’s WestWorld on July 4. From 4 to 9:30 p.m., you can enjoy cool, indoor fun for the whole family. This will include a Kids Zone, electric animal rides, a stunt dog show, Jurassic 4th Dinosaur Encounter, a bull riding rodeo, pony rides and petting zoo, food and drinks, fireworks at 9 p.m. and more.

Of course, many people in the Greater Scottsdale area just stick around their homes and enjoy a pool party or backyard barbecue with family and friends. If you can catch a fireworks show from your own patio, even better! But you’ve got plenty of options for community fun if you choose to head out that day.
